11 years ago. Save. There are several casinos in saigon, mostly in 5-star hotels. Try the one in Sheraton Hotel, but AVOID the one in Caravelle Hotel. Theyve just changed all the machines, and installed new tables, so they need to get back on their recent investment. So the machines are tight and won't pay much.

There is (was) a casino at the Rex Hotel (at least in May 2010) - found it quite nice actually and I am sure they had a few tables there as well as the machines.. The casino in the hotel next to the Grand in Vung Tau was great fun. - and a good atmosphere as well - free drinks and smokes as long as you were gambling - I think I spent about $50 all up in three hours and had a hoot of a time.

#3 is incorrect,the casinos are not all electronic machines.I have been in the one in Vung Tau which had two roulette tables and blackjack and baccarat tables as well.The odds on the roulette table were standard,but if I remember correctly it had a double zero (where everyone loses),so the odds were slightly worse than in a UK casino,which doesn't have the 00.And the Vung Tau was anything but.
